Massey University is committed to internationalization. Its partnership with Study Group has helped its international student intake grow to 4,000 from over 95 countries.
Exceptional progression rates onto degree courses
Study Group’s Auckland Foundation Year (AFY) partners with Massey University and has been designed to help students make a smooth transition into Massey’s Bachelors degree programmes.
AFY programs are delivered by Taylors College at the impressively equipped study centre in the heart of Auckland city. Students study for the specific academic qualifications they need, while working to gain the necessary level of English language and study skills. Staff and tutors are expert in university preparation, and as well as academic teaching, there’s a high degree of cultural and pastoral support available too.
Progression onto a wide range of Bachelors degree programmes
Massey University has helped shape the lives and communities of people in New Zealand and around the world for over 80 years. Its forward-thinking spirit, research-led teaching, and cutting-edge discoveries make Massey the defining university in New Zealand.
Successful AFY students are welcomed into all five of Massey’s Academic Colleges (Sciences, Business, Creative Arts, Education, Humanities and Social Sciences). Scholarships and study awards are available to those students achieving exceptional marks in AFY.
Three AFY courses are available depending on the student’s academic needs and level of English;
- the Intensive Programme (31 weeks)
- the Standard Programme (40/39/36 weeks)
- the Pre-Foundation Programme (60/58 weeks)
